SAN DIEGO (AP) - Free agent quarterback Warren Moon will visit the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and Wednesday, his agent said Friday.

Moon, released by Seattle last week, began his job search with a visit to the San Diego Chargers on Monday. He spoke by telephone Monday with Browns coach Chris Palmer, who was Moon's quarterbacks coach with Houston in the early 1990s.

"He's intrigued by the intense fan fervor in Cleveland, and he had a previous relationship with coach Palmer," agent Leigh Steinberg said Friday. "Following that, he should be in a decision-making mode."

Moon, 42, needs 903 yards passing to join Dan Marino and John Elway as the only 50,000-yard passers in NFL history.
