Giants' Sehorn fails to return Posted: Sunday September 19, 1999 03:41 PM
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- The much-anticipated return of Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn was put off yet another week when New York did not dress him for Sunday's home opener against the Washington Redskins. Sehorn, who has been plagued by a hamstring injury since late July, has not played in a game since suffering a season-ending knee injury in a exhibition game against the Jets in August 1998. The six-year veteran missed all of training camp with the hamstring problem. After practicing this week, Sehorn felt so good, he said his chances of playing were 85 percent. Giants coach Jim Fassel obviously didn't feel the same way on Sunday.
