Elliott, Fabini indicted for bar fight

MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) -- New York Jets tackles John 'Jumbo' Elliott and Jason Fabini were indicted today for their roles in a bar fight in July. Elliott was charged with one count of third degree assault and two counts of disorderly conduct, while Fabini was charged with one count of disorderly conduct. Both players will be arraigned next week before Nassau County Court Judge Joseph C. Calabrese. If convicted, Elliott, 34, faces up to one year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine. Fabini faces a maximum of 15 days in jail and a maximum fine of $250.
