RICHTON PARK, Ill. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers running back De'Mond Parker is free on bond after being charged with possession of marijuana. Parker, 23, of Green Bay, Wis. was arrested Saturday after seven grams of marijuana was found in an automobile he was sitting in, according to police in this Chicago suburb. Parker was parked on the street and loud music was coming from the auto, police said. He also was holding a partially burnt hand-rolled cigarette in his hand, which he dropped on the ground when police asked him to leave the auto. Parker was taken into custody and released on $1,000 bond, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Cook County Circuit Court in Markham on April 18. Parker, who played college football at the University of Oklahoma was a rookie last season with the Packers. He finished last season on injured reserve with a knee injury.
