Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants
Super Bowl Preview - Missile Attack

January 28, 2001
by: Sportvision

Everyone expects the Ravens defense to play well, but little is expected from Baltimore's offense. What they do get accomplished is figured to come from Jamal Lewis and Shannon Sharpe. But Qadry Ismail has been making big plays for the Ravens for several years now. If he can take some of the pressure off Sharpe and Lewis, the Ravens will be dangerous.

Coaching Points:

  • Trent Dilfer (8) play fakes to Jamal Lewis (31) while Ismail (87) is running a slant route.
  • Shannon Sharpe (82) runs a flat route, taking LB Jessie Armstead (98) with him. This gives Dilfer the throwing lane to Ismail.
