MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Daunte Culpepper scored on a one-yard run and threw for another score, leading the Minnesota Vikings to a 14-10 exhibiton victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Culpepper ran one-yard for a TD early in the second quarter and connected with star receiver Randy Moss for a one-yard scoring play later in the period, giving Minnesota a 14-3 lead.

Playing the first half, Culpepper finished 10-of-15 for 137 yards. One of his completions was a 67-yard connection with Moss in the second quarter. Moss had four catches for 76 yards.

Titans quarterback Steve McNair sat out with stiffness in his lower back.

Veteran backup Neil O'Donnell started in McNair's place and went 9-of-14 for 119 yards. Billy Volek followed and completed 15-of-23 attempts for 153 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

Tennessee had nine penalties for 77 yards.
