each rushed for a touchdown as the
Washington Redskins
posted a 17-0 preseason victory over the
Miami Dolphins
, who got very little from their running game.
Portis scored on a one-yard run in the first quarter and Cartwright plunged over from a yard out in the second, helping the Redskins build a 14-0 lead.
Portis rushed for 37 yards and Cartwright 33 as the Redskins (2-1) racked up 181 yards on the ground.

was sharp as he completed 7-of-9 attempts for 79 yards.
For the second straight week, the Dolphins (1-1) failed to generate much of a running game. They produced just 25 yards on the ground, led
