In 1996, his first year with the Broncos after signing as a free agent, Alfred Williams (91) dropped opposing quarterbacks a career-best 13 times, earning his first Pro Bowl berth. This season, with Neil Smith imported to play the other defensive end, Williams's numbers were down but he still tied Smith and DT Maa Tanuvasa for the team lead with 8.5 sacks.
