The Cowboys were expected to win their third Super Bowl in four years, but Pittsburgh wasn't expected to put up much of a fight. Surprisingly, the Steelers did. If not for a couple of mind-boggling bad passes thrown by Neil O'Donnellthe interceptions led to 14 Dallas pointsthe Steelers might well have won. O'Donnell's second pick was the back-breaker. With 4:15 left in the game, Pittsburgh had the ball, trailing 20-17. On second down, O'Donnell dropped back and inexplicably threw the ball directly into the open arms of cornerback Larry Brown, who returned the ball 33 yards to the Steelers' 6. Game over.
