ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- Cris Carter, arguably the best receiver in the NFL, turned in another top-notch performance Sunday. Carter caught 11 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the Minnesota Vikings' 35-27 win over the San Diego Chargers, and he became only the fourth player in NFL history to move past the 900-career-catch mark.
As is usually the case, the quarterback flinging the ball to Carter also had a big day. The Vikings' Jeff George passed for four touchdowns, amassing 363 yards as he connected on 28 of 43 attempts.
On the losing side, Jim Harbaugh of the Chargers put up some big statistics, throwing for 404 yards. But he only got in the end zone once as he completed 25 of 39 attempts for a 64 percent completion percentage.
In the ground game, four rushers gained more than 100 yards. At the top of the list is Corey Dillon, who helped the Cincinnati Bengals control the ball in the Bengals' upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers, carrying 23 times for 120 yards. Eddie George turned in another top performance for the Tennessee Titans, scoring two touchdowns as he rushed 26 times for 113 yards in the Titans' victory over the Cleveland Browns.
A defensive player got in on the touchdown action this week. Cornerback Chris Dishman of the Chiefs hit pay dirt twice in Kansas City's win over the Chargers, returning an interception 47 yards for a score in the second quarter and picking up a fumble for a 40-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
