ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- Top running backs turned Week 14 into a showcase for rushers as seven backs gained more than 100 yards and four gained more than 150 yards -- a huge week for ballcarriers by NFL standards.

Eddie George of the Tennessee Titans turned in a monster day on Thursday, with 199 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries against the Oakland Raiders. On Sunday, Corey Dillon, Stephen Davis, and Marshall Faulk set the pace, each rushing for more than 150 yards and playing a pivotal role in his team's victory.

Dillon scored three rushing touchdowns and gained 192 yards on 28 attempts as the Cincinnati Bengals pounded the Cleveland Browns 44-28. Davis, the league's second-leading rusher going into the weekend, gained 189 yards on 37 carries and scored a touchdown as the Redskins stayed atop the NFC East with a 28-3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Faulk continued to set up the St. Louis Rams' passing attack, carrying the ball 29 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 30-14 win over the New Orleans Saints.

In the aerial game, Qadry Ismail came up huge for the Baltimore Ravens, catching six passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns in Baltimore's 31-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As for quarterbacks, the best performance yardage-wise was turned in by Drew Bledsoe in a losing cause. He threw for 379 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 20-15 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The big winner for Week 14 was the Carolina Panthers' Steve Beuerlein, who connected on 29 of 43 passing attempts for 373 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers' 33-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
