By David Lundy, CNN/SI ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- The Green Bay Packers didn't make the playoffs, but Dorsey Levens turned heads in the Packers' 49-24 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Levens scored four touchdowns and gained 146 yards on 24 rushing attempts, an average of 6.1 yards per carry. Despite missing a couple of games due to injury, Levens finishes the season with 1,034 yards rushing. The top rushing performance of the day was turned in by rookie Jermaine Fazande, who gained 183 yards on 30 rushing attempts and scored a touchdown in the San Diego Chargers' 12-6 win over the Denver Broncos. But Week 17 featured the pass. Twenty receivers managed 100 or more yards in receptions, and three had more than 150. Patrick Jeffers of the Carolina Panthers caught 7 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' thumping of the New Orleans Saints. Jimmy Smith, the Jacksonville Jaguars' top receiver, finished the season with a flourish, catching 14 passes for 165 yards in the Jaguars' 24-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Randy Moss of the Minnesota Vikings also finished strong, catching five passes for 155 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions. Among quarterbacks, Steve Beuerlein of the Panthers had another great day, passing for 322 yards and five touchdowns in engineering the Panthers' win and late-season run at the playoffs.
