Seven days after suffering through one of the worst kicking performances in recent memory, Pittsburgh's Kris Brown kicked the Steelers past bitter rival Cleveland.

Last week, Pittsburgh was beaten 13-10 by Baltimore as Brown missed four field goals -- two in the fourth quarter.

Brown had a private kicking session at Heinz Field this week with holder Josh Miller and long snapper Mike Schneck as he tried to boot away the pain of being the first NFL kicker in four years to miss four field goals in a game.

The extra practice paid off Sunday.

Brown kicked five field goals (OK, he did miss one), including the game-winning 32-yarder with 9:38 remaining in overtime as the Steelers beat the Browns 15-12.

"It's a little better feeling," Brown said. "Last week was probably the longest, hardest week of my life. I'm just very happy to get the opportunity."
