ATLANTA (CNN/SI) -- Who will be this year's Thanksgiving turkey, Jerry Jones or Jimmy Johnson? That may not be the question with the most import in Week 12 of the NFL season, but it's one of the most intriguing.
The Dallas Cowboys (5-5) and Jones need a win badly as the Miami Dolphins (8-2) and Johnson invade Texas Stadium, Johnson's first coaching trip to Dallas since he and Jones parted ways in March 1994.
In the other Thanksgiving Day game, the Chicago Bears (5-6) visit the Detroit Lions (6-4) in the tight NFC Central.
In the best Sunday matchups, the struggling New England Patriots (6-4) visit the Buffalo Bills (7-4) in a must-win situation for the Patriots if they are to stay alive for the AFC East title. Otherwise, they'll be scrapping for a wild-card spot with six or eight other teams. The Oakland Raiders (5-5) play host to the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) to determine who will stay in sight of Seattle (8-2) in the AFC West.
