EDINBURGH, Scotland (Ticker) -- Dameyune Craig's six-yard run at 13:39 of the fourth quarter lifted the Scottish Claymores to a 21-20 victory over the Rhein Fire. The only scoring of the first half came on the first drive of the game and was set up by a 50-yard pass from Fire quarterback Mike Cherry, allocated by the New York Giants, to Dialleo Burks at the Claymores' 9-yard line. Three plays later San Diego Chargers running back Kenny Bynum ran outside right tackle for a 2-yard touchdown. The ability Craig, the Carolina Panthers-allocated quarterback, to make plays out of nothing kept the Claymores knocking on the door for the rest of the first half. But English kicker Rob Hart failed to convert a 40-yard field goal attempt early in the second quarter. Then, as Craig went for the end zone on a fourth-down attempt, Scottish wide receiver Scott Couper was denied by good coverage by Fire and Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Cedric Donaldson.
