No. 1
428 Yards, Par 4

The first hole is made easier when the trade winds blow. After hitting drives down the middle the golfers should have only a short iron in, to a difficult green to hold.
No. 2
524 Yards , Par 5

The second hole is uphill and into the wind. The driving range on the right is O.B. The contestants will drive left of the big fairway bunker. The fairway narrows as golfers approach the green. The four champions will have to keep it left of the seven bunkers on their second shot.
No. 3
209 Yards , par 3

The elevation of this tee allows for splendid views of the ocean, the Hyatt Regency Kauai Hotel and the sunny Poipu coastline. The competitors will aim left, as the prevailing winds from the left tend to blow shots toward a bunker or the right O.B. down the entire right side of the hole.
No. 4
380 yards, par 4

There is plenty of room for drives on the left. The key is to avoid the huge "L" shaped fairway bunker on the right. The fourth hole has a slightly elevated green.
No. 5
355 yards, par 4

Errant drives will face trouble on the left. The golfers will target the right side of the fairway short of the fairway bunkers. The green slopes from right to left.
No. 6
573 yards, par 5

The wind seems to kick most balls to the left on this fairway. The target is the right center of the fairway. Long hitters can reach the green in two. The green is large and sloped from back to front in between deep bunkers left and right.
No. 7
152 yards, par 3

The downwind shot over water makes the seventh hole a short difficult one. The back bunker catches a lot of shots. The target is the left side of the green.
No. 8
334 yards, par 4

The eighth hole is short, but the green is long and narrow. There is a valley running across the two tiered green.
No. 9
405 yards, par 4

The ninth hole is the most difficult hole on the front nine. Tee shots must stay between bunkers leaving an uphill second shot to elevated green. The competitors will use plenty of club for the second shot.
No. 10
394 yards, par 4

The golfers will drive it down the middle into the wind. The green slopes right to left with a deep grass bunker on the right.
No. 11
193 yards, par 3

The wind will carry the ball from left to right. The champions will aim left of the green and let the wind do the work.
No. 12
412 yards, par 4

Drives will land on the right side of the fairway for the best approach shot to the green. Approach shots can run onto the green on the right side only because bunkers guard the left.
No. 13
384 yards, par 4

Downhill and downwind, this hole plays very short, with water in front of the green which can be reached from the tee with a wood. Golfers may lay up with an iron.
No. 14
537 yards, par 5

There is plenty of room off the tee. The best angle to the green is to hit the second shot to the right side of the fairway bunkers. The slope beyond the bunker on the right side sends shots back to the front.
No. 15
427 yards, par 4

This hole has a spectacular view from an elevated tee. The key is to drive it straight, and avoid the ocean left and bunkers right. Approach shots should be aimed short and right to avoid the severe slope on left side of green.
No. 16
501 yards, par 4

The golfers will aim at the fairway bunker on the right with their tee shots. The fairway and green slope toward the ocean.
No. 17
201 yards, par 3

Downhill and downwind, this hole plays shorter than yardage indicates. Golfers will aim to the left side of the green, as ocean wind will move it a bit right. The competitors will hope to avoid bunker on right.
No. 18
550 yards, par 5

Drives should be down the right center. A long one off the tee can create an eagle opportunity. There is water on the left and right.
