A look at the fourth Presidents Cup matches, which will be played Oct. 19-22 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Lake Manassas, Va. (all times EDT):
Event:	The Presidents Cup, 32 matches between the United States and an International team (excluding Europe).
Dates:	Thursday-Sunday.
Site:	Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, Gainesville, Va.
Defending champion:	International.
Series:	United States leads, 2-1.
Captains:	Ken Venturi (United States), Peter Thomson (International).
Format:	Five matches of alternate shot on Thursday. Five matches of alternate shot and best ball on Friday. Five matches of best ball on Saturday. Twelve singles matches Sunday. In the event of a tie at the end of play Sunday, each captain will have designated a player for a sudden-death playoff.
Noteworthy:	The United States won the last two matches at the RTJ Club.
