More than 200 years ago, poet William Blake placed immortal glory on the shoulders of "The Tyger." This weekend, a man named Tiger shouldered the weight of immortality with 72 holes of glorious golf. Foes fell by the wayside in the first two rounds, and the records fell over the final two as Tiger Woods won the 100th U.S. Open by finishing 12 under par at blustery Pebble Beach for a historic 15-stroke victory.
