Lifetime Amtrak passes.
Polite applause.

It was the same shirt he wore when he won Houston and Memorial that year.
Endorsement deal with Coca-Cola.
ABC officials told him red looked better on TV.
It matched the color of his neck.

7. Why did amateur Bobby Clampett, playing as a marker in the 1979 Open's final round at Inverness, get kicked off the course at the 12th hole?
He donned shorts.
He hit tee shots from his knees.
He gave Bob Rosburg a wedgie.
He threatened to one day become an incredibly monotonous golf commentator.

Bobby Jones
Mickey Mantle
President Eisenhower
Ed Sullivan

9. Who is the last champion to play in local and sectional qualifying the year he won the Open?

Shot 83 on Sunday, whacked a moving ball off the green and taken an 11.
Walked in at the turn and left without telling anyone.
Said he no longer considered the Open a major championship and vowed never to play in another.
Finished in the top 25.

"Where the hell is Jane?"
"I claim this land in the name of the Queen."
"No problem. I'm only six shots behind Norman."

13. Journeyman Andy Dillard, nicknamed Bib, birdied Pebble Beach's first six holes in the '92 Open's first round, the best start in Open history. What commercial icon was he nicknamed after?
