David's a Goliath

Duval captures first major with British Open win

The golf world can finally get off David Duval's back. The man has his major. Turning in a masterful 4-under 67 on Sunday at sunny Royal Lytham & St. Annes, Duval won the 130th British Open by three shots over surprising Swede Niclas Fasth to join the exclusive ranks of major champion winners. More importantly, Duval, a former four-time All-American from Georgia Tech, removed his name from the list of best players never to have won a major.
