430 Yards, Par 4
No. 1 favors a slight right-to-left tee shot. A tall tree line guards the left. A large bunker at 260 yards stands on the right-hand corner of the dogleg. At 430 yards, some players will bag their drivers, leaving a short-to-middle iron shot to a fairly generous green sloping from back to front. Aggressive players may try to turn a driver around the corner and play a short wedge. Below the hole is good -- an aggressive putt can be tried to start with a birdie.
