Colin's costly mistake Monty DQ'd for signing for incorrect scoreDULUTH, Ga. (Reuters) -- Briton Colin Montgomerie was disqualified in the final round of the PGA Championship on Sunday for signing an incorrect scorecard. Montgomerie, seven times winner of the European Order of Merit, signed for a 3 on the par-3 seventh hole when his actual score was a bogey 4 after a three-putt. Montgomerie's final-round score should have been 72 and his total for the 83rd PGA would have been 6-over-par 286. The Briton, who was playing on Sunday was fellow Briton Andrew Oldcorn, will receive $2,000, which is the sum paid to players who missed the cut but turned in a 36-hole score.
