Tiger's Fourth Round Hole-By-Hole

TULSA, Okla. (Reuters) -- Tiger Woods parred the 18th hole to complete a final round of 1-under-par 69 as his string of four successive major championship victories ended on Sunday at Southern Hills.

Woods finished with a 3-over-par total of 283 and was eight strokes off the pace when he walked off the 18th green.

No. 1 -- Hits 361-yard drive off tee into right rough. Wedges second shot to rough right of green, chips up close for par.

No. 2 -- Drives into rough on the right. Second shot hits branches of tree and drops into rough. Third shot from 70 yards leaves him 40 feet from cup, two putts for bogey.

No. 3 -- Tee shot finds rough again. Putts second to within 30 feet and two putts for par.

No. 4 -- Hits his first fairway of the round, sticks approach shot close and converts birdie putt to move back to 4-over, nine shots off the pace.

No. 5 -- Hits 3-wood from fairway to reach green of 642-yard par-5, the longest in U.S. Open history. Leaves long eagle putt 3 feet from cup and makes putt for birdie to reach 3-over, eights shots off the pace.

No. 6 -- Finds bunker on tee shot to 175-yard par-3. Blasts out within a couple of feet and makes par.

No. 7 -- Puts tee shot in fairway and sends approach to 382-yard hole within 3 feet. Sinks putt for birdie to reach 2-over par, seven shots off the pace.

No. 8 -- 3-iron to about 40 feet of cup at 225-yard par-3. Leaves birdie putt about 5 feet short but sinks it for par.

No. 9 -- Second shot spins off green and back down into fairway. Chips up about 10 feet past hole and takes two putts for bogey to drop to 3-over, eight shots off the pace.

No. 10 -- Hits fairway, second shot to about 25 feet. Two putts for par.

No. 11 -- Makes 10-foot birdie putt at 165-yard par-3, to move to 2-over, seven shots off the pace.

No. 12 -- Misses 5-foot birdie putt, settles for par.

No. 13 -- Poor tee shot on 534-yard par-5. Lays up short of green. Misses 25-foot putt for birdie and settles for par.

No. 14 -- Misses 40-foot birdie putt, makes par.

No. 15 -- Approach shot rolls to back fringe, chips up and makes putt for par.

No. 16 -- Makes 10-foot putt for par on 491-yard par-4 to stay 2-over but leader Retief Goosen is 6-under.

No. 17 -- Missed a 6-foot putt for par on the 365-yard hole and took a bogey, to drop to 3-over.

No. 18 -- Routine two-putt par after hitting tee shot in the right rough to finish 1-under 69, for a 3-over total of 283, eights shots off the pace at the time.
