Monty, Singh commit to Skins Game

INDIO, Calif. (AP) -- Colin Montgomerie and Vijay Singh are the latest to agree to play in The Skins Game during Thanksgiving weekend.

Also playing in the $1 million event will be Sergio Garcia and the lone American, defending champion Fred Couples.

The two-day event will be played Nov. 25-26 at Landmark Golf Club.

Couples won last year and set records for the most birdies (nine), most money earned on one hole ($410,000), most money won in a Skins Game (11 skins worth $635,000) and most career skins (52).

He also has won a record $1,975,500 for his career in the Skins Game.
