AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Tiger Woods is still reaping rewards from the Masters.

Augusta National chairman Hootie Johnson announced Tuesday that the club was donating $500,000 to the Tiger Woods Foundation, which supports community-based programs that promote health, education and welfare of children.

"At Augusta National, we continue to support those organizations that are equipped to make informed decisions on the use of the donations for the good of the game," Johnson said. "Tiger's commitment to serve as a role model in this mission will have a huge influence on America's youth and the future of the game of golf."

Augusta National already has pledged $3 million to charity this year, including $1 million to the First Tee program.

"I never expected this, and I am thrilled that Augusta National has come through in support of the Tiger Woods Foundation in such a big way," Woods said.

Woods is a two-time winner of the Masters, including his victory this year that made him the first player to win four straight professional majors.
