KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- A Malaysian party to show appreciation for Tiger Woods greatly impressed the world's No. 1 golfer.

But, he said, "it felt like a retirement party."

"I'm not retired," he quickly added Saturday.

At 15-under-par 198, holding a five-shot lead after 54 holes, he is busy trying to win his fifth individual trophy in his last six tournaments. The event is the World Cup for two-man teams, but the best individual score is worth $100,000.

The dinner Thursday night was to present a trophy to Woods for the best aggregate score in 1999 for the four major tournaments -- the U.S. Masters, Open and PGA and the British Open.

Woods had a total of 1,141 for the four, 14 ahead of the next best scorer, Colin Montgomerie. He won the PGA with a total of 277, one of eight titles he has won in his last 12 tournaments.

Records for the best aggregate in the majors have been kept since 1960, but this was the first time a permanent trophy -- an idea conceived in Malaysia -- had been presented for the feat.

Woods received the trophy from Lee Kim Yew, founder of the Mines Resort, where the World Cup is being played.

In the 32-team World Cup, Woods and partner Mark O'Meara were at 23-under 403 after 54 holes, leading Spain by seven shots.
