In this inaugural year of Sports Illustrated Good Sports presented by Dodge, 1,337 communities joined our team. Each received an activation kit from the National Recreation and Park Association with tips on developing youth sports programs that let kids learn and have fun. From among those towns, we congratulate these SI Good Sports Communities of the Year. With their ability to promote the values emphasized in the activation kit—such as sportsmanship, fair play, skill development, helpful parent involvement and positive coaching methods—they are role models all communities can follow.
