Tann added to U.S. team
Posted: Tuesday July 21, 1998 08:55 PM NEW YORK (AP) -- The United States added a third heavyweight to its Goodwill Games boxing team. Officials said Malcolm Tann, a 19-year-old from San Antonio, was placed on the roster to fill a late opening in the field. A bronze medalist at this year's U.S. Championships and U.S. Challenge, Tann joined heavyweights DaVarryl Williamson and Stanley McClain on the 23-man U.S. boxing team. | |
