Injured Deadmarsh to miss Game 5 Posted: Thursday April 25, 2002 5:05 PMDENVER (AP) -- Los Angeles Kings right wing Adam Deadmarsh was scratched from Thursday night's Game 5 against the Colorado Avalanche because of a strained neck. Deadmarsh was injured in the third period of a 1-0 loss to Colorado on Tuesday, when he smacked into the boards helmet-first while chasing Adam Foote. Colorado led the best-of-seven series 3-1 heading into Thursday's game.
