Dominik Hasek
Detroit Red Wings
25 saves, .958 save pct. in past three games
| After looking shaky in Games 1 and 2, Dominik Hasek has given up just three goals since. Though he wasn't challenged with a lot of good scoring chances in Game 5, there were some vintage flopping Hasek saves that had been absent earlier in the series.

Felix Potvin
Los Angeles Kings
26 saves, eighth postseason shutout
| Just like he did in Game 5 last year, Felix Potvin led the Kings to a 1-0 shutout win in Denver. In a tightly checked game, Potvin wasn't spectacular, but he played perfect positional hockey to keep his team in the game. Patrick Roy ended up blinking first and Potvin and the Kings forced Game 6.

Chris Pronger
St. Louis Blues
1 goal, 0 assists, even, 4 shots, 29:02 ice time, 33 shifts
| Pronger got off to a rough start to the regular season and struggled in the Olympics, but he has been back to his old Norris Trophy form since returning from his two-game suspension earlier this month. Pronger scored the tying goal in Game 5 and played superb defensively while matched up against the Blackhawks' top line.
