J.S. Giguere
Ana. Mighty Ducks
1.07 GAA, .971 save percentage in series
The engraver for the Conn Smythe Trophy might want to start practicing the spelling of Jean-Sebastien Giguere. While he has outplayed Curtis Joseph in all three games, CuJo's statistics (1.89 GAA, .925 save pct.) aren't terrible, they just aren't Jiggy-like.

Peter Forsberg
Colorado Avalanche
1 goal, 1 assist, plus-1, 2 shots, 16:39 ice time, 25 shifts
After being held to one assist in the two games in Denver, Peter Forsberg broke out for two points in Game 3 to help quiet the raucous Minnesota crowd. Foppa's game-sealing goal in the third was an example of his deft stickwork and ability to score coming from behind the net.

Doug Weight
St. Louis Blues
2 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 3 shots, 21:25 ice time, 30 shifts
The Blues needed some extra effort with captain Al MacInnis out of the lineup in Game 3, and Doug Weight stepped up in a big way. Weight's power-play goal midway through the second held up as the game-winner, and he added an empty-netter in the final minute to ice the win.
