Chris O'Sullivan, Paxton Schulte and Marty Murray each had a goal and an assist to power the Saint John Flames to a 4-3 victory over the St. John's Maple Leafs. After a scoreless first period, O'Sulliavn gave the Flames a 1-0 lead with 12:58 to play in the second period. Kelly Fairchild tied the game for the Leafs just over eight minutes later. But Schulte restored Saint John's one goal lead with 2:07 left in the period. Jesper Mattson and Murray scored 78 seconds apart early in the third period to cap the scoring for Saint John, who has an eight-game unbeaten streak. Nathan Dempsey and Shawn Carter scored midway through the third for the Maple Leafs. Dwayne Roloson made 26 saves in the win, while Francis Larivee stopped 26 shots in the loss, St. John's third in four games.
