TORONTO (CNNSI.com) -- More than 100 former hockey greats will be on hand Saturday, Feb. 5 for a doubleheader edition of the annual Heroes of Hockey Game.

For the first time in its 10-year history, two Heroes of Hockey games will be staged, representing hockey's pre-expansion and post-expansion eras, as the Maple Leafs Heroes face off against the NHL Heroes.

Former Detroit Red Wing star Ted Lindsay, 74, who performed in the first NHL All-Star Game in 1947, will return to the ice with the NHL Heroes pre-expansion team. Eighteen members of the Hall of Fame appear on the NHL Heroes rosters, including Lindsay's former Red Wings teammate, Alex Delvecchio.

Former Maple Leafs forward Fleming Mackell, who made his NHL debut in the 1947 All-Star Game, will return to action with the Maple Leafs Heroes. Joining Mackell are some of the greatest players to ever wear a Maple Leafs jersey, including Hall of Fame members Frank Mahovlich, Norm Ullman, Darryl Sittler, Lanny McDonald and Borje Salming.

An exclusive group of non-playing NHL Heroes will also be in attendance, including hockey legends Bobby Orr, Mario Lemieux, Johnny Bower and Vladimir Konstantinov.

The teams were selected by Colin Campbell, NHL Executive Vice President and Director of Hockey Operations, and Patrick Flatley, Director, NHL Alumni Relations.
