Pavel Bure took this fan's abuse in New Jersey, where he went scoreless in two games. Jamie Squire/Allsport

Brodeur sparkles as Devils finish off sweep of Panthers

Pavel Bure finally scored, but it didn't matter. Bure's first-period goal was the only flaw in an otherwise perfect night for Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur. Sergei Nemchinov scored twice as New Jersey finished off a four-game sweep of Florida with a 4-1 win Thursday, marking the Devils' first trip to the second round since 1997.

Game 3: Three by three
The Devils haven't blown away the Panthers, but you wouldn't know it by the series standings.

Game 2: Great Scotts!
Scott Niedermayer returned from a 10-game suspension and Scott Stevens got the game-winner.

Game 1: Devils hold on
Scott Stevens, Petr Sykora and Sergei Brylin scored early as the Devils escaped with a 3-2 win.
