Ken Daneyko New Jersey's Ken Daneyko keeps his streak of 110 consecutive playoff games alive. Al Bello/Allsport

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Ken Daneyko, whose streak of playing in every New Jersey Devils playoff game was jeopardized by an abdominal strain, was in uniform for Game 2 against the Florida Panthers on Sunday night

Not only did the veteran defenseman play in his 110th consecutive playoff game, but two other players considered questionable for the game were also on the ice.

Devils center Jason Arnott, who sprained a wrist in New Jersey's 4-3 Game 1 victory, and Panthers defenseman Mike Wilson, who bruised a foot, also played.

The game also marked the return of Devils defenseman Scott Niedermayer from a 10-game suspension for hitting Florida's Peter Worrell over the head with his stick on March 19.

There were some chants of "Scotty, Scotty" when he stepped on the ice the first time.

Play was suspended for about five minutes early after plexiglass near the Devils bench broke.
