Devereaux out for the duration

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- Forward Boyd Devereaux, out with a severe concussion since April 1, will miss the rest of the playoffs.

The 22-year-old Devereaux was hurt in a game against the Phoenix Coyotes. MRI tests showed he suffered bruising of the brain.

Devereaux had eight goals and 19 assists in 76 games with the Oilers.

The Oilers trail the Dallas Stars 2-1 in their Western Conference quarterfinal series.
