NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Colorado Avalanche right wing Milan Hejduk, who leads all players in game-winning goals, was named to the World All-Star team, replacing injured New Jersey Devils right wing Alexander Mogilny on Thursday.

The 25-year-old Hejduk, a Czech Republic native, is second on the Avalanche with 53 points. Eight of his 29 goals have been game-winners and he is tied for third in plus-minus (+26).

In just his third season, Hejduk joins teammates Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy, Peter Forsberg and Ray Bourque in the contest which will be held at the Avalanche's home arena -- The Pepsi Center.

Mogilny is sidelined with a hip injury.
