Don Waddell, the vice president and general manager of the expansion NHL Atlanta Thrashers, will chat with CNNSI.com users on Tuesday, May 18, from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

Waddell, who served as assistant general manager for the Detroit Red Wings during the 1997-98 season, will answer questions about the upcoming expansion draft, the NHL draft and issues that face a new NHL franchise.

The Atlanta Thrashers are a division of Turner Sports, Inc., and a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner Company. The team will be the 28th NHL franchise and will debut in the 1999-2000 NHL regular season.
