It’s not like the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team went into hiding, but even USA Hockey has a hard time keeping tabs on some of those who performed the Miracle on Ice. So here is a short list of those Gold Medalists who are still involved with organized hockey. Herb Brooks: Head Coach, Pittsburgh Penguins Neal Broten: Grassroots Hockey Advisor for the NHL's expansion Minnesota Wild Dave Christian: Head Coach of the Fargo-Moorhead Ice Sharks (a USA Hockey-sanctioned Junior A team in North Dakota) Mike Eruzione: Boston University Alumni Office; motivational speaker Mark Johnson: Assistant coach with the University of Wisconsin (where his legendary father, Bob, also coached) Craig Patrick: General Manager, Pittsburgh Penguins
