Pedro Pinto

World Sport anchor Pedro Pinto joined CNN International in August 1998.

Pinto previously served as a news and sports anchor and editor for Caderno Diario, airing on Radiotelevisao Portuguesa (RTP2), where he interviewed Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio and hosted a live interactive game show, Hugo.

Pinto received a bachelor's degree in communications and marketing from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1996.
