Trisha Blackmar

Trisha Blackmar

Trisha Blackmar joined the staff of Sports Illustrated in 1997 and is currently chief of reporters for SI Presents and Sports Illustrated for Women. She covers women’s basketball for CNNSI.com.

Blackmar received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Middlebury College in Vermont in 1995. She worked as an editorial assistant at United Media before she joined SI.

She currently resides in New York and enjoys playing basketball, mountain biking and studying Japanese.
