Pacers-Bucks Game 4 Preview

Milwaukee looks to pull even on home court

  Ernie Johnson Viewpoint

It's been an interesting trip to Milwaukee for the Pacers to say the least.

On Friday night, Reggie Miller and Mark Jackson found themselves in the midst of autograph seekers at a local mall, and then found themselves face to face with a security guard who wanted them to leave because they were causing a scene. Word is the security guard didn't know who they were (C'mon fella, get cable).

Seems that in the course of their shopping trip, Miller bought a Superman T-shirt, which he wore during pre-game Saturday night, and he then proceeded to light up the Bradley Center for 34 as the Pacers took a 2-1 lead. Jackson says Miller considered a "Batman" shirt, but was told by his point guard that Batman was second string.

Now the Game 4 question: What does George Karl use for kryptonite to keep this series going?

Milwaukee shot the ball well in the first half Saturday night, putting up 58 points ... but scored 38 over the final two quarters. Too much 1-on-1 stuff was Glenn Robinson's reasoning. The Bucks had gotten away from what got 'em the lead in the first place. It also didn't help that Sam Cassell was tossed late in a close game, and the Pacers ran away and hid to win by double digits.

While Indiana gets Rik Smits back from suspension tonight, the Pacers aren't 100 percent healthy. Austin Croshere, whose double-double was key in Game 3, has a sore right foot, and we'll see how that affects him tonight.

Travis Best says the Pacers "smell blood" and his teammates know that if you let a series go the full five, you're living dangerously. I like Indiana tonight, but the Bucks will make 'em earn that trip to the conference semis.
