  Ernie Johnson In the House

Well, Kenny "The Jet" Smith, Peter Vecsey and I may have to swing by Philips Arena on Tuesday night. It's only a 10-minute drive from Studio A, and that's where the Hawks will host the Sacramento Kings Tuesday night on TBS.

The Kings remain arguably the league's most entertaining team, and there's substance to go with the style provided by Jason Williams and Chris Webber. That team is deep and talented and continues to hover in the Pacific heights. We'll see if the Hawks can slow 'em down.

On Wednesday night, TNT hits the air with a double-dip, starting in Phoenix. Jason Kidd runs the show for the Suns, leading the league in assists, steals, triple doubles, and minutes, while the guy Kenny dubbed "The Matrix," Shawn Marion, is simply a highlight waiting to happen.

The Suns will host the Spurs in a rematch of last year's opening-round playoff pairing. And our nightcap on Wednesday is another playoff rematch: the Lakers and Blazers.

We had 'em on opening night, with the Lakers winning by 10. Kobe Bryant ended the week averaging 42 points over a four-game span, including 51 against Golden State. He's taken his game to a Jordan-like level.

And I know what you're asking. "What, no Knicks?!?!" Don't be silly. They'll make it seven weeks in a row with a visit to Toronto on Thursday night on TNT.

Ernie Johnson is in his 11th year as the studio host for TNT and TBS Superstation's NBA telecasts, as well as TNT's live coverage of the NBA Draft every June.
