Sports Illustrated's Peter King is reporting that Courtney Brown's agent, Marvin Demoff, met with representatives from the Cleveland Browns for 12 1/2 hours on Friday to try to hammer out a contract. The two sides will resume talks at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning to wrap things up. But there could be movement elsewhere.

Bob Lorenz: Joining me now is Peter King. Peter, let's talk about that No. 5 pick. A lot of questions about what the Ravens will do with it, so what do you think they'll do?

Peter King: Well the Ravens are sitting on a gold mine. They could trade it to either Green Bay, which picks 14th in the first round, or the Jets, picking 13th, and they could get a total of three picks from either team fairly high in the draft. One X factor. I spoke with Baltimore owner Art Modell late this afternoon, and he said, "Hey, I do not want to trade out of this pick." He's got Ozzie Newsome, his general manager, and Brian Billick, his coach, who both want to trade. So I think that's going to be a decision that's going to be made tomorrow. If Green Bay does move up, it looks like they'll take New Mexico linebacker Brian Urlacher. If the Jets come up, look for them to replace Keyshawn Johnson with a Johnson play-alike, Plaxico Burress of Michigan State.

Lorenz: Well, let's say it doesn't happen for the Jets, at least in this deal. What then will they try to do to move up?

King: Well the Jets right now have a tenative deal with the San Francisco 49ers to move from 18 to 16. Right now the 49ers own the 16th pick -- they would trade back a little bit. And I think the Jets will take at least three players out of first round. I talked to Bill Parcells late this afternoon, and he believes they are going to get three players in the top 16 or 18 -- probably receiver, and then two defensive players. Now the 49ers, in turn, are still puzzling over whether to take Marshall quarterback Chad Pennington with a mid first-round pick. One X factor there -- Pittsburgh coach Bill Cowher called Pennington late this afternoon and said, "Chad, if you're there when we pick at No. 8, you're our guy."

Lorenz: Then what happens to the 49ers? They've shown no problem moving around at all in the draft.

King: No, I think that Bill Walsh, the 49ers general manager, told me late this afternoon: "Listen, we've got to get five starters out of this draft." He wants eight picks in the first four rounds -- he's got seven right now -- and look for them to go very heavy defense, Bob, including three corners in the first four rounds.

Lorenz: Thanks Peter.
