5 Things I Think I Think: Part II

SAN FRANCISCO -- As the NFL Draft continues, here's five more things I think I think:

1. I think Marshall quarterback Chad Pennington is one disappointed guy right now. A source close to Pennington told me Friday night that Pittsburgh coach Bill Cowher called Pennington on Friday and said: "If you're there at No. 8, you're our guy." Welcome to the honest world of the NFL, Chad.

2. I think it's been a long time since the first seven picks of the draft were this predictable.

3. I agree with Mel Kiper Jr. on this one: The Steelers will regret passing on this one.

4. I think the Cleveland Browns and Courtney Brown both got what they wanted with their new contract. Cleveland got Brown to agree to a lower bonus than Tim Couch [Couch got $12.5 million; Brown gets $10.9 million]. But Brown receives more money in the first three years -- the real key earning years for a rookie contract.

5. I think I'm not sold on Brian Urlacher, but he's the perfect guy for the Bears, who need a difference-maker on defense. The Bears probably got good value at picking him at No. 9.
