Free Interactive Site Features Fun Activities and Special Events for All Ages

What: The Toyota Presents Sports Illustrated's 50th Anniversary Tour is a football field-size interactive site which brings SPORTS ILLUSTRATED to life for fans across the country. Complete with a main stage to showcase live entertainment, SI's one-of-a-kind sports experience features activities and special events for people of all ages. The Tour will be present at Veterans Park from Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26. As part of its 3-day stay, Sports Illustrated will celebrate the 2003 Tulsa Run at the finish line on Saturday!

The Toyota Presents Sports Illustrated's 50th Anniversary mobile site experiences and activities include:

• Toyota Field , an enclosed theater features an original film highlighting the greatest sports moments of the past 50 years as selected by the editors of SI. The Toyota Field also features a Cyber-imaging station that invites guests to get their picture on the cover of SI.
  
• Best Buy "Best Seat in the House," showcases the latest consumer electronic innovations for catching sporting events. Partnering with Best Buy to equip the Best Buy Best Seat in the House are Bose Corporation, Philips Electronics, Sharp Electronics and Toshiba.
  
• Starter offers the following three elements: the Shaq Dunkman, an interactive basketball experience; an exhibit profiling the Starter All-American Teen from each state; baseball, basketball, football and soccer challenges.
  
• SPORTS ILLUSTRATED FOR KIDS 25-yard dash, an activity zone where kids of all ages can participate in fun relays and races.
  
• The Tour's footprint also highlights the past 50 years in sports through the eyes of the magazine, including some of its most memorable covers and great photography.
  
• Live entertainment, athletic performances and other special appearances will be featured on the Tour's main stage.

The Tour is a key element in SI's 50th Anniversary multi-media program, America's Sports Illustrated: 50 Years, 50 States, 50 Sports, which is touching communities across the country with a yearlong nationwide celebration of sports in America. It mirrors the state-specific coverage in the magazine by visiting unique sporting events in 25 states from July 2003-July 2004. Oklahoma will be featured in the December 29 issue of SI.
