Oversized Impact

Despite being the second-smallest state in the union, Delaware has always been a big player in stock-car racing. Known as the Monster Mile, Dover International Speedway has hosted two races a year since its opening in 1969. Each race weekend brings in an estimated $45 million to the Delaware economy.
