Tito brings the thunder
Trinidad TKOs Vargas in the final round
Felix Trinidad knocked down Fernando Vargas twice in the first round and three times in the final round to win by TKO on Saturday night. After being stunned in the first two rounds, Vargas roared back and knocked down Trinidad in the fourth round. Both fighters were penalized for low blows. But Vargas could not handle Trinidad's left jabs and hooks, which troubled him the entire fight. With the win, Trinidad retained his WBA super welterweight title and captured the IBF junior middleweight title.
