| The Line: The ninth-place finish in the Wood Memorial was a big
disappointment, though he may still have been suffering from the
effects of a lung infection he picked up in the Louisiana Derby.
Perhaps he just didn't like the wet track. Exchange Rate is a
consistent race horse, though he seems to be more of a front-runner
than a closer. He should run better than he did at Aqueduct, but I'd
like to see him coming into the Derby off a stronger effort. |
