| The Line: He's done everything asked of him so far, stretching out in
distance and racing to the lead from off the pace. Everybody keeps
saying he's a sprinter because he set the track record at Belmont for
5 1/2 furlongs in the Tremont. He's run well this spring, finishing
ahead of horses like Captain Steve, Wheelaway and Hal's Hope, but he
hasn't won. He'd surprise everybody if he gets up for first in the
Derby, but it wouldn't be a shock to see him finish in the money. |
